Salted Caramel & Coconut Thumbprint Cookies
It's been a while since I felt compelled to turn on the oven...quite the heat wave here in NYC and my little kitchen doesn't have AC. Baking, definitely not happening!!! Instead I've been satisfying my sweet tooth with pints of Ben & Jerry's. I'm a total ice cream junky, especially in the summer.
But this weekend I find myself at home and it's not quite as blazing hot. No weekend escapes to the beach or Upstate NY, so what better way to spend a Saturday afternoon than baking cookies. Cookies are probably my hands down favorite sweet indulgence...so many types of cookies and flavors and textures...yum!
These salted caramel thumbprint cookies are perfect. Sweet, salty, sooo good!
